Sarah L. Jones is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) with certification from the American Midwifery Certification Board. She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM) and the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN). She holds additional certification in electronic fetal monitoring from the NCC.
Sarah grew up in Minnesota and received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. After graduation, she moved to Orlando and worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Arnold Palmer Hospital before going to graduate school. She received her Masters of Science as a Certified Nurse Midwife from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1998.
She was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society. She joined Delaney OB/GYN in 2010 after moving back to Orlando with her husband. She is a member of the Women’s Care Florida Quality Committee and also serves on the Collaborative Practice Committee at Winnie Palmer Hospital. Sarah is also an officer with the local ACNM chapter.
Sarah enjoys travel during her free time and volunteers with her canine therapy dogs (Tucker and Copper) as well as with Golden Retriever Rescue of mid Florida. She enjoys being active and recently completed her first marathon.
